These are a couple of my paintings I hanged in my bedroom. The first one, I painted on a 10x10 canvas, using black, and green water colours, and a silver paint marker. First, I painted a random black diamond on the canvas, then painted the inside with green water colour, and then stroked it with a toothbrush for a free style look. In the end, I wrote Eleanor Roosevelt's quote "You can often change your circumstances by changing your attitude" using a silver paint marker. The second one, I painted on a 8x8 canvas, using ivory black, lemon yellow, cerulean blue, cerulean orange, phtalo green, burnt umber, raw umber, Chinese white, and crimson red acrylic colours. In the beginning, I drew a line on the bottom quarter of the canvas, to divide it up between table cloth, and the back ground, then, drew check design using s regular pencil, and a scale, then painted them in using crimson red acrylic colour, (didn't bothered for the white, since the canvas was already white)...
To be honest, I got the idea from a shirt I saw hanging outside a clothing store on display, on the shirt, it was simply printed, live, learn, hope in vertical order. I didn’t copied it completely, I added the ''to's'' and the "Live" in the end. I also created the neon, abstract background by my own mind And, I forgot to mention, I created this piece on a piece of PVC board, using sap green, lemon yellow, cerulean blue, and cerulean orange acrylic paints for the back ground, and in the last wrote the words with a black felt tipped marker, because writing with paints is a disaster for me.
